Now in its sixth generation, Subscribe is a fully featured, tried, tested and trusted email marketing platform. The software can be installed on your own server or in the data centre of your choice with no cost per email. iON provides second level technical support and facilitates constant upgrades.
The Subscribe product is continually evolving; version 7 is due before the end of 2010. In future developments, the software will add more features including the creation of a fully featured online marketing platform, integration with Google Analytics, measuring social media activity and consolidated dashboard reporting.

Subscribe has been created by iON, a digital consultancy and online marketing agency based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Formed in 1999, iON has been creating email marketing solutions since 2000, with a client base of over 200 in 15 countries. Using Subscribe, our customers send a combined 10 million emails per month.

Subscribe customers range from small businesses to non-profits and public organisations.
The software product is used by corporate organisations, government bodies and charities that need to keep their data safe; it is used by publishing companies with high volumes of content as there is no cost per send and it is used by systems integrators, who subsume the email marketing features, embedding them into CRM or ERP systems. Subscribe is also utilised by agencies who use the platform for multiple clients as they have control of campaign management, can ensure data security, improve delivery rates, as well as integrate with multiple websites and systems.

Barry Hagan, Non-Executive Chairman
Following senior management roles in Vision Consulting, ICL Ireland and ICS Computing, Barry has run BHA Consulting since 2004, servicing customers such as Aetopia, American University of Cairo, Customer Carewords, Lagan Technologies, UK Ministry of Justice, Rolle-Royse and Wells Fargo Bank. In addition to his non-executive Chairman role at iON, he currently holds non-executive Board positions with Alta Systems Ltd and Customer Carewords.
Niall McKeown, Managing Director
Niall founded iON in 1999. As Managing Director, Niall works with organisations to help them formulate online strategies, designed to incorporate online actions with their offline activities. Niall is an active speaker across the UK and Ireland on new media, digital strategy, online PR, social media and website based practice. He also blogs regularly, offering specialist advice and sparking debate on all things digital.
Gareth McKeown, Financial Director
After qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1999 Gareth spent a year in London working for Grant Thornton with several blue chip companies. On returning to Northern Ireland Gareth spent a year in the construction industry as company accountant with the Lagan group. In 2001 Gareth was persuaded by his brother Niall to come and join him in the internet world to guide the finances of iON. Gareth is also the Financial Director of another family company Annaghmore Agencies, a business which imports and exports reproduction furniture.
